The PPM Raum servers are operated in Germany, in one of the most modern and powerful data centers in Europe. Everything is regulated and certified according to: ISO 27001, ISO/IEC 27018, C5 and TÜV TRUST IT.

The availability of your data is guaranteed at 99.99%.

Gas extinguishing systems and several physically separated fire compartments, modern access control, 24-hour video surveillance including alarm system and security service, as well as a multi-redundant Internet connection via backbones to various providers, secure the data at the highest level. In addition, all components of the platform are redundantly available at least 3 times. We also log all accesses and access attempts.

A triple backup of all data per day within our data center protects against hardware errors. In addition, our entire infrastructure is distributed across 2 data centers within Germany.

The project platform itself is accessed exclusively via SSL (256 bit) encryption. In addition, the data is protected by access rights. Access to the PPM Raum is exclusively encrypted. The PPM Raum rights system also allows individual areas in the project space to be shielded from each other for different users and groups. Passwords are stored as SHA-hash encrypted in the databases and cannot be viewed in plain text by anyone. This ensures that information is never visible to unauthorized persons.

The data center guarantees excellent data security and flawless compliance with data protection through the TÜV-tested Information Security Management System. It has been certified with the coveted ISO 27001 and SSAE 16/ISAE 3402 seals. In addition, the data center is the first leading provider of cloud services to be certified according to ISO/IEC 27018 and a certification according to C5 by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

All servers and network services are protected against external hacker attacks by a managed firewall and are continuously monitored.

In addition, all submitted documents are scanned with current anti-virus software to protect against infected files. Particularly threatening file types are rejected by the system from the outset.

The entire data in the project space is backed up 3 times a day. The backup servers run spatially separated with redundant power supply (UPS). Thus, in the event of a hardware component failure, it is possible to restore the entire database within minutes at any time. For additional security of your data, we operate our own backup servers in a locally separate data center in Germany. The project room data is also transferred to this location via a secure, encrypted VPN connection.

Yes, in general all our backups are AES-256 encrypted and stored on distributed data carriers. Access to the backups is only possible by authorized personnel.
